Phoenician Technical Services is looking for an experienced Irrigation Engineer to join our team in Dubai on a full-time basis, with immediate joining.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and misting systems.
• Prepare irrigation layouts, hydraulic calculations, equipment schedules, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Review irrigation drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Select suitable pumps, pipes, valves, sprinklers, controllers, filters, and other irrigation equipment.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess irrigation requirements and site conditions.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
• Coordinate irrigation works with landscaping, civil, electrical, MEP, and other project teams.
• Troubleshoot system failures, pressure issues, leaks, blockages, and control-system problems.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans to ensure reliable system performance.
• Optimize water consumption through efficient design, automation, and irrigation scheduling.
• Inspect completed works and prepare snag lists, inspection reports, and handover documentation.
• Maintain records of irrigation assets, maintenance activities, water consumption, and system performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering, health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Provide technical recommendations for irrigation improvements and system upgrades.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or Civil Engineering with landscaping experience
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in Irrigation System Design & Implementation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Fluent in English 
• Possess experience in both construction and agriculture fields, enabling effective integration of irrigation systems in diverse project environments
• Use software tools for system design and scheduling (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, irrigation controllers)
• Knowledge of relevant local regulations and technical standards
• A team player with proven ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
