QA/QC Engineer
Phoenician Technical Services is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Dubai on a full-time basis, with immediate joining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Quality Plans, Method Statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Conduct site inspections, quality surveillance, and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards, and applicable codes.
- Inspect construction materials upon delivery and throughout project execution, coordinating storage and testing requirements.
- Maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, quality records, and as-built handover documents.
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on quality-related matters.
- Train site personnel on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with project quality requirements throughout all construction phases.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, etc.) or a related science field
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001), industry codes, and specific testing methods (NDT, materials testing)
- Fluent in English
- A team player with proven ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Proven working experience as a QA/QC Engineer in construction projects related to landscaping
- Familiarity with construction, and project phases (receiving, in-process, final inspection)
