Planning Engineer
Phoenician Technical Services is looking for a motivated Planning Engineer with a Civil Engineering background and experience in landscaping projects to join our team in Dubai on a full-time basis, with immediate joining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements.
- Track project performance to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
- Monitor project costs, financial status, cash flow, and cost forecasts.
- Prepare cost estimates, valuations, payment applications, and final accounts.
- Evaluate variations, change orders, day works, and claims, ensuring all supporting documentation is maintained.
- Monitor changes in project scope and maintain accurate variation registers.
- Track labor hours, material quantities, and additional work costs.
- Ensure compliance with contractual procedures and company cost-control requirements.
- Attend project meetings and prepare progress, cost, and commercial reports.
- Identify project risks, cost deviations, and potential delays, recommending corrective actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of related experience in the Landscaping field
- Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills
- A team player with proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
