We are looking for a creative and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Dubai. 

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for design, coordination, review, and technical development of electrical systems for high-rise tower, lagoon, amenities, and associated infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, authority requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and coordinate electrical designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Design and coordinate LV/MV power distribution systems, transformers, generators, substations, switchgear, and electrical equipment.
• Prepare load, voltage-drop, short-circuit, cable sizing, and equipment sizing calculations.
• Design and coordinate internal, external, emergency, landscape, and lighting control systems.
• Coordinate earthing, bonding, lightning protection, and electrical safety systems.
• Coordinate electrical requirements for HVAC, pumps, water treatment, lagoon systems, swimming pools, water features, and other MEP equipment.
• Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, civil, landscape, ELV, fire, and specialist systems.
• Develop and review BIM/Revit models, coordinated drawings, and clash detection reports.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical proposals, equipment selections, and calculations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, contractors, suppliers, and specialist vendors.
• Support authority submissions and approvals and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support during construction and resolve electrical design and installation issues.
• Ensure electrical designs are accurate, coordinated, compliant, constructible, and delivered on schedule.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant electrical design experience, preferably in high-rise towers, residential, hospitality, mixed-use, or large-scale developments
• Strong knowledge of applicable IEC/BS standards, local authority regulations, utility requirements, and project specifications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and MS Office; knowledge of electrical design/calculation software is preferred
• Experience in BIM coordination, clash detection, shop drawing review, and multidisciplinary coordination
• Experience working with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, subcontractors, and specialist vendors
• Previous experience in the UAE/GCC region and knowledge of local authority requirements will be an advantage
